don't judge the band by its album cover

after (almost) all my life, i’m happy to have seen the new radicals perform again. thanks is due in no small part to pres. biden and the united states of america. the inspiration for this comic strip is them and the five other bands that saved me from the horror that is high school - blink-182, green day, incubus, red hot chili peppers and lifehouse respectively - also, the amazing commute from home to school c/o the tricycle. allow me to end with a word of blessing (fake or otherwise), may we always look back and smile at how the simple things helped us survive the past and know that the simple things will help us again survive the present and the future.
