advice to last-minute museumgoers

back when traveling is not yet frowned upon, i had a short visit to new york. as a person who's not so much a fan of doing too much too soon, i let the time pass me by without going to the usual places one who visits nyc visits in nyc. it was only when i had the courage to talk to someone - at the site where the twin towers once stood - two weeks before i go back home that i was reminded of what i was maybe missing. advice to last-minute museumgoers is the soundbite of our conversation. much could be learned (or maybe unlearned) about a place (or maybe with life in general) not from the perceivable but from where it fell and chose to stand up again. sending love and prayers to the victims, those who risked their lives to save others and all who demonstrated extraordinary compassion in the aftermath of 9/11
